Development Milestone

Early 1980s	Founded as a wholesaler of sanitary fittings and bathroom accessories by Mr Lim Hong Ching.
1990	Manufactured first product, a water filter, under our “SHOWY” brand.
1991	Incorporated in Singapore as Koon Ching International Trading Pte Ltd.
1992	Registered our “SHOWY” trademark in Singapore.
1992	Acquired our current factory in Sungei Kadut with a built-in area of 1,606m².
1993	Commenced full-scale manufacturing of “SHOWY” brand products and out-sourced the manufacture of other products to contract manufacturers in Europe.
1994	Registered our “SHOWY” trademark in UK, Myanmar and Vietnam.
1994	Exported our first batch of “SHOWY” products to Dubai.
1995	Accredited the ISO9002 certification (upgraded to ISO9001 in 2003).
2000	Out-sourced the manufacture of some of our products to contract manufacturers in the PRC.
2000	Changed our name to Showy International Pte Ltd.
2003	Awarded the Singapore Promising Brand Award.
2003	Showy International Limited was listed on SGX-Sesdaq.
2004	Awarded the Singapore Superbrands award.
2004	Re-located our manufacturing facility to Ningbo, PRC.
2005	Accredited the ISO9001:2000 certification in the PRC and discontinued the ISO9001 certification in Singapore.
2008	Transferred the entire SHOWY business to Showy Private Limited.
2011	We relocated our company from Zhejiang Ningbo to Guandong Jiangmen in the end of March 2011 and renamed it as "Showy Industrial Co., (Guangdong) Ltd".
