Founded in Singapore in the early 1980s by our Managing Director, Mr Lim Hong Ching as a wholesaler of sanitary fittings and bathroom accessories, Showy has grown to become one of the region’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of bathroom, kitchen and sanitary products and accessories.
 

We have established a rigorous quality management system and were the first in the industry in Singapore to have been awarded the ISO9002 certification in 1995 (upgraded to ISO9001 in 2003). Showy International Limited was listed on SGX-SESDAQ in July 2003 and also received the Singapore Promising Brand Award in the same year and the Singapore Superbrands award in the following year. The successful relocation of our manufacturing division to Ningbo, the PRC in 2004 marked another milestone for Showy. In recognition of our product quality and emphasis on stringent quality control within our new manufacturing base in Ningbo, we were accredited the ISO9001:2000 certification in the PRC in March 2005. With this achievement, we have discontinued the ISO9001 certification in Singapore in the same year.
 

We design and manufacture three main categories of products: sanitary fittings, bathroom products and accessories, and kitchen products and accessories under our in-house brand “SHOWY”. We also trade and distribute some third party products. We have a strong network of contract manufacturers in the PRC and Malaysia to meet our product development needs. Today, we have more than 1,000 product models that are sold locally and overseas including ASEAN countries.
 

In September 2008, SHOWY PRIVATE LIMITED, a company wholly owned by Mr and Mrs Lim, has taken over the entire manufacturing and trading business from Showy International Limited.
